The programme featured remedial tutoring in core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science), a Montessori-style bridging class for out-of-school children, and computer literacy classes. To support the whole child, the project provided daily nutritious meals and partnered with MSF to offer mental health support for mothers, ensuring a stable home environment for educational success. 120 refugee and local students were reached by the project. The project forged vital partnerships with MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières) and the Gauteng provincial Department of Education, which provided materials and helped place bridging-class students into mainstream schools.
