This six-month initiative in Katlehong utili sed the transformative power of the performing arts to educate communities, empower survivors, and inspire long-term advocacy against gender-based violence.

The second edition expanded its impact through school-based GBV workshops and artistic development training in theatre, dance, and music. By collaborating with specialised support organisations and corporate sponsors, the project staged a major awarenesse vent featuring professional performances and community dialogues designed to foster healing, challenge harmful norms, and promote social awareness and transformation. Te project reached and engaged over 500 community members, including learners, and provided paid employment for over 30 local artists and facilitators. The project successfully secured corporate sponsorships from Dickies and Converse for performer costumes and maintained vital partnerships with organisations like POWA, Childline, and the Teddy Bear Foundation to provide survivors with counselling and psychosocial support. Recognised as a model for combining art and social education, the project was highly successful in creating shared community ownership and providing.
