This initiative provides nutritious hot meals and daily after-school academic support to vulnerable children in Kagiso and surrounding informal settlements to combat hunger and improve educational outcomes.

The project expanded its feeding services from once a week to three times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) for 779 children. It also operated an After School Homework Support Programme six days a week for 220 learners, featuring a reading club for Grades 4 –7 learners to improve literacy. Beyond education and food, the programme distributed 2 dignity packs to adolescent girls and conducted community awareness on issues such as gender-based violence (GBV) and substance abuse.
