The project provided comprehensive training in permaculture techniques, soil management, and entrepreneurship, enabling participants to maintain productive gardens and sell surplus produce. Key activities involved land preparation, resource procurement, and ongoing mentorship to build long-term agricultural capacity and community resilience. 35 direct participants (primarily women) and approximately 300 indirect beneficiaries within the Mooiplaas community were reached by the project. The project successfully fostered local partnerships with organisations such as Afrika Tikkun and the Rotary Club of Centurion for technical support and implemented innovative waste management using Black Soldier Fly larvae.
